When I say the letter-writing event with Soapbox Project has changed my life, I absolutely mean it - I have never been able to create such long-term impact with any other event I've attended. It gave me a perspective into the lives of those who are incarcerated in a way I'd never thought about before, which has made me more empathetic, open-minded, and passionate towards making a difference in the community.
